VoiceForms
Overview
VoiceForms are forms you fill in over the phone, with spoken as well as phone keypad responses.
Do it from anywhere with any phone: fixed line, mobile or satellite. No need for an internet connection. Useful for data collection, reporting, or voice surveys.
Features
Think of a VoiceForm as a spoken version of a web based form, but with several advantages:
-
The ability to reach all staff, whether they are online or not;
-
The ability to collect, manage and analyse the survey results online;
-
The ability to interrogate the internet from outside the internet - so on a standard phone the user might enter say a client ID number or a product ID, ipadio's VoiceForms will then speak the database entry 'You entered the ID for Widget 123, press 1 for yes press 2 for no....'
Benefits
There are numerous examples of VoiceForms in action with various clients but first try this cases study from a gaming business who wanted to survey their staff or this more complex example of an asset management system for Virgin Media
"ipadio’s solution is fantastic, and paid for itself in 3 months in call centre costs reductions alone – though crucially this key service is vastly improved. This project gained fast approval from finance because of the obvious cost saving." Julie Osborne, Head of Integration and Compliance, Virgin Media
Voiceforms in Antarctica
You can see a VoiceForm in action in this video - used to collect numbers (Lat & Long, Temperature and Wind Speed) - from one of ipadio's favourite explorers, Mark Wood in Antarctica.
This process results in Mark's Wordpress blog presenting that data on his website and integration with Google Maps gives a pin on a map - all from his phone.
